In my case, neither Lysine or proline lowered Lp(a) in 15 years of use. However, in Linus Pauling's patent, he clearly states that these agents reduce its binding affinity at the endothelium. Therefore, it additionally wouldn't have to be lowered. True, anecdotally in my case, with remission of symptoms of a PAD.
