FORUM PROBLEMS (Hackers are forcing us to move to newer Software)

We have started losing random posts.

Certainly a "bug" might be the answer, however, we suspect that our old phpBB forum software on this server allowed us to be hacked.

We are creating a new Vitamin C Foundation forum for the future. Stay tuned.

You may notice that we are locking and taking write permissions away form this, our "legacy" Forum.

We probably won't be able to carry over posts to the new forum. On the other hand, all the information in this version of the forum should remain on the Internet, at a different URL that we will post at the new forum.

Might be a blessing in disguise and we may try to go back and post our older forum posts as old as 2005!

if we can carry users and their passwords across to the new forum, we will, but users who want to contribute may have to re-register.
